Scientific Advisory Council
EBTC's Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) is an international pool of volunteers from government agencies, NGOs, industry, and academic backgrounds, bringing their expertise and perspectives to the development of new EBT methods, contributing to EBTC projects, and advising the Board and the EBTC Director on new areas of research and other scientific issues of relevance to the broader toxicology community.
The SAC reports to the Director of EBTC and the Board of Trustees via the SAC Chair/s. SAC Members and Chair/s are elected by the Board.
The SAC is currently co-chaired by Dr Rob de Vries, whose is an expert in development of tools and guidelines to facilitate the conduct of systematic reviews at SyRCLE, Radboud University Medical Centre, Netherlands, and Dr Daniele Wikoff, Health Sciences Practice Leader for ToxStrategies, Inc. based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.
SAC members serve in a personal capacity and their contributions to the work of EBTC do not necessarily represent the views or policies of their employing organisations.
